The murder of Odin Lloyd occurred on June 17, 2013 in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, U.s.a.. His death fabricated international headlines when Aaron Hernandez, at the time a tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football game League, was investigated equally a suspect and convicted in the example. He was tried for two separate murder charges for the 2012 double homicide of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, but was acquitted of these charges on April 14, 2017.[seven] On May 12, 2016, Wallace was acquitted of first-degree murder of Lloyd, but was convicted of being an accessory after the fact of the crime; he was sentenced to serve 4 and a half to seven years in prison.[8] On June 27, 2016, Ortiz inverse his 'non guilty' plea and pleaded guilty to accompaniment afterwards the fact. Odin Leonardo John Lloyd was born in Saint Croix in the U.Southward.   • June 14, 2013 – Lloyd and Hernandez went together to Rumor Nightclub in Boston. A witness claimed Hernandez appeared to exist upset at Lloyd in the club that nighttime and stormed out. Prosecutors suggested that Hernandez may have been upset at Lloyd for speaking to patrons associated with the victims in the 2012 shootings.
  • June 16, 2013 – At approximately ix:30 pm, Hernandez text messaged his friend, Ernest Wallace, request him to drive upwardly to Due north Attleborough, Massachusetts, along with Carlos Ortiz, from his home in Bristol, Connecticut.
  • June 17, 2013 – At 2:33 am, surveillance footage shows Odin Lloyd leaving his home in the Due south End of Boston and getting into a silver Nissan Altima with Hernandez, Wallace, and Ortiz.
